for cultural celebration

The Human Relations Council of Freehold Township is sponsoring a "Cultural Diversity Celebration" to acknowledge the contributions made by the various cultures in the community. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Nov. 2 at the Freehold Senior Citizens Center, Jackson Mills Road

The event will feature entertainment, arts and crafts, and food that reflect the area’s diversity. Filipino, African-American, Polish and Egyptian communities have already signed up to participate, and organizers are seeking additional groups from the area to add to the success of the celebration. For more information, call Ken, program coordinator, at (732) 431-5082.
