Chris Kelly West Long Branch was one of many towns severely hit by a thunderstorm last Friday. Fallen tree limbs and damaged trees litter the ground outside one of the dormitories of Monmouth University. The damage the university suffered from the fierce storm forced the institution to close for several days while repairs were made and the grounds were cleaned up.
