The Center for Kids and Family of Kimball Medical Center is offering health, education and support programs to the community during October. These programs are offered free to the community, except where noted for materials costs.
The following programs are provided at the following dates and times during the month of October:
• Jazzercise — $58 for six weeks or $7 a class. Mondays and Thursdays at 7 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:30 a.m. Saturdays at 9 a.m. Wednesdays, 6-7 p.m.;
• Woman’s Passages — Oct. 10 and 24, 7-9 p.m.;
• Sibling Class, Oct. 14, at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Fee required. 7-10 p.m.;
• Lamaze refresher (one-session) — Oct. 14 at Kimball Medical Center. Fee required. 7-10 p.m.;
• Infant Massage — Oct. 15, 10-11:30 a.m.;
• DSI Parent Connections of N.J. — Oct. 15, 7-8:30 p.m.;
• Nine Month Tea Club — Oct. 17, 7-9 p.m.;
• Look Good – Feel Better — Oct. 21, 10 a.m. to noon;
• Cardiac support group — Oct. 21, 7-9 p.m.;
• Breastfeeding class (one session) — Oct. 23, at the KMC Mother-Infant Pavilion, 7-9 p.m.;
• The Juggling Act for Working Women — Oct. 23, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Oct. 30, 1-2 p.m.;
• Managing Stress with Humor — Oct. 23, 1-2 p.m. Oct. 30, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Held at KMC;
• Reflexology — Oct. 23, 6:30-8:30 p.m.,
• Cancer Support Group — Oct. 24, 4-5 p.m. Fee required;
• "The Sandwich Generation: It Ain’t No Picnic" — Oct. 24, 7-9 p.m.;
• "It’s A Girl Thing" — Oct. 29, 6:30 p.m.

St. Mary of the Lake hosts Candidate Night
St. Mary of the Lake Roman Catholic Church will host its sixth annual Candi-date’s Night on Oct. 22 at 7:30 p.m. at the Holy Family School cafeteria, East County Line Road, Lakewood.
While the program is sponsored by the church’s EPIC (Expand Presence In Com-munity) Committee, the public is invited to attend to increase public awareness and interest in the Nov. 5 general election.
Candidates for the U.S. Senate, House of Representatives, Ocean County Free-holders and Lakewood Township Commit-tee have been invited. They will present their biographies and campaign platforms, and participate in a question-and-answer period.
Gordon Frank will be the moderator with John F. Patrick as timekeeper. Ceil DeMaria is in charge of the social period and refreshments as the candidates meet informally with the voters.
