The following are the results of the Westlake Ladies Golf Association’s Oct. 10 outing. In the 18-hole group (which was scored for nine holes due to weather), Pat Wilson took first with 20 points, followed by Linda Burnett (20) and Paula Barth (20). Ties were broken by the last six holes. In the nine-hole group, Nancy Robbins and Alba Ramos took first with 20, followed by Gloria Harbour with 17. Ties of 20 could not be broken.
The following are the results of the Nick "the Quick" Werkman All-American Action Clinic’s Sept. 25 outing at the McCauliffe School in Jackson. John Collazo won the hotshot contest with 58 points, followed by Mike McClean (50), Will Windell (45), Mark Vogel (40) and Andrew Faughnan (35). Vogel won the foul-shooting contest, going 10-for-10, followed by Joe Schott (9-10), McClean (8-10), Windell (7-10) and Faughnan (6-10). McClean was the camp MVP.
At the Sept. 23 camp, Danny Claus won the hotshot contest with 45 points, followed by Shane Casia, Chris Sarno, Christian McNeil and Ryan Kroll. Casia won the foul-shooting contest, going 10-for-10, followed by Claus (9-10), McNeil (8-10, Knoll (7-10), and Coffe, Dedeer and Gasbaniero (6-10).
At the Oct. 10 camp, Kyla Dofner won the girls’ hotshot contest with 29 points, followed by Brittany Ester (22), Megan Wiegenblast (20), Melissa Kane (18), and Kaitlyn Ainley (16). Dofner also won the foul-shooting contest, going 10-for-10, followed by Ester (9-10), Kane (8-10), Ainley (8-10), and Wiegenblast (7-1). Dofner was the camp’s MVP.
