MARY BENNETT, 91, of Freehold Township died Nov. 28 at home. Born in the Herbertsville section of Brick Township, she resided there and in Glendola prior to moving to Freehold Township more than 70 years ago. She was a lunchroom attendant at Freehold Township Schools from 1960-82. Prior to that, she worked at A. and M. Karagheusian Rug Mill, Freehold, in the 1920s and ‘30s. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Freehold. She was a 7th Degree member of Monmouth Grange No. 92. She was predeceased by her husband, William A. Bennett in 1982; and a son, George H. Bennett in 1981. She is survived by her son, Floyd W. Bennett at home; her sister, Jennie Gifford of Herbertsville; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be Dec. 4 at 11 a.m. at Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.

REGINA MARIE LENAHAN, 78, of Englishtown died Nov. 20 at Brandywine at Middle Brook Crossing, Bridgewater, following a lengthy illness. Born in Bayonne, she resided there before moving to Englishtown in 1959. She was an executive secretary at Bell Labs, Holmdel, and AT&T, Middletown, from 1968 until 1989. Prior to that, she was employed at Parents magazine, New York City, and the Monmouth County Probation Department, Freehold. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, Englishtown. She was a member of the church’s Rosary Society and was a religious education teacher. She volunteered with the American Red Cross during World War II. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, as well as secretary at the Englishtown Historical Society. She also served as a Cub Scout leader in Bayonne, and a Girl Scout leader in Englishtown. She is survived by her former husband, Thomas Lenahan Sr.; two sons, Thomas Lenahan Jr. of Freehold, and Jeffrey J. Lenahan of Bradley Beach; a daughter, Eileen Lenahan Cramer of Sparta; and five grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold. Interment was at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.

FLORENCE MARIE ALBRECHT EISENMANN, 78, of Keyport died Nov. 20 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Hillside, Mrs. Eisenmann was a longtime Keyport resident. She worked in the food service department at Keyport Central School until her retirement. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Keyport. Mrs. Eisenmann was predeceased by her husband, James, in 1983. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis Eisenmann and Gena Krannig of Galveston, Texas, and Scott and Jane Eisenmann of the Morganville section of Marlboro; her daughter and son-in-law, Judi and Roger Edgington of Waterford, Mich.; her sister, Catherine Ahern of Hazlet; her daughter-in-law, Georgina Eastmond of Galveston; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Entombment took place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery Mausoleum, Keyport.

HELENA O. LUGOS, 78, of Marlboro died Nov. 20 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Paterson, she lived in Clifton before moving to Marlboro 39 years ago. She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Lugos, at home; a son, Frederick Lugos of Swedesboro; and five grandchildren. Graveside services were at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson.

HELEN M. PATRINICK, 90, of Manalapan Township died Nov. 20 at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Born in Mason City, Iowa, she resided in Manalapan for several years. She was a licensed practical nurse in New York City and New Jersey. She was a communicant of and Eucharistic minister at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Manalapan. She was also in the church choir and was a religious education teacher. She, along with her husband, was active in the Knights of Columbus, Manalapan. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Anne M. Granacker of Bethel, Conn.; two brothers, Peter Papp of Latham, N.Y., and Paul Papp of Delmar, N.Y.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. STELLA M. CASTILLO, 80, of Mountainside, died Nov. 21 at Overlook Hospital, Summit. Born in Flagstaff, Ariz., she lived in Mountainside for the past 35 years. She was a graduate of Arizona State Teachers College, Flagstaff. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Mountainside. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ernesto C. Castillo of Mountainside; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Michael E. and Jeralyn Castillo of Wheeling, Ill., and Charles W. Castillo of Toms River; two daughters and one son-in-law, Patricia Ann Masseau of Rockaway Township, and Stella Marie and Michael Castillo of Howell; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements will be handled by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.

CHRISTINA MARCHISA GREENBERG, 82, of Aberdeen died Nov. 21 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Piedmonte, Italy, she resided in New York City and Florida prior to moving to Aberdeen 34 years ago. She was a designer and pattern-maker at various Seventh Avenue fashion houses in New York City, and also taught design and pattern-making at various fashion schools. She was past grand officer of the state of New Jersey Order of the Eastern Star, and past matron of the Sirius Chapter Order of the Eastern Star No. 123. She volunteered for more than 40 years with local charities, with 17 years at Bayshore Community Hospital. She was a member of the National Organization of Italian-American Women, and Sons of Italy of America Frank Sinatra Lodge No. 2621. She was predeceased by her husband, Julius L. Greenberg, in 1998. She is survived by her sister, Elsie Gallese of Marlboro; her brother and sister-in-law, Dante and Victoria Marchisa of Toms River; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. A funeral service was offered at United Methodist Church, Aberdeen. Entombment was at Garden of Memories, Paramus.

EDWIN JOHN PETRY, 58, of Whiting died Nov. 25 at home. Born in New York City, he had lived in Union Beach before moving to Whiting four months ago. Mr. Petry was a maintenance worker for the Union Beach Board of Education, retiring one year ago. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Koerner Petry of Whiting; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Edward Mace of Howell, and Laura and Richard Macklin of Nazareth, Pa.; his son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Michelle Petry of the Belford section of Middletown; his sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Jerry Rehse of Ramsey; and six grandchildren. A memorial service was held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Middletown.

GREGG ALAN STAHL, 47, of Freehold, died Nov. 21 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in New Brunswick, he resided in Somerset prior to moving to Freehold 19 years ago. He was a production technician at Glaxo-SmithKline Pharmaceuticals, Piscataway. He was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Diane Walton Stahl, and two children, Derek and Kaylee, all at home; his parents, Anne Del Casale and William Stahl of Somerset; his sister, Suzanne; and several aunts, and uncles. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold. Entombment was at Holmdel Cemetery Mausoleum. In death, he became a member of the Sharing Network of New Jersey through organ donation. GEORGE EPHRAIM BABCOCK, 88, of North Adams, Mass., and formerly Freehold, died Nov. 23 at North Adams Regional Hospital, Massachusetts. Born in Paterson, he resided there prior to moving to Freehold in 1970, and moved to North Adams, Mass., in 1998. He was employed at Julius Roehrs Exotic Nurseries, Farmingdale, for several years, retiring in 1998. He enjoyed time with his family. He also enjoyed horticulture and history, and was a Bible teacher and very active in religion. He was predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Bertha Binks Babcock in 1986. He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, the Rev. Ronald and Bonnie Johnson of Yelm, Wash., the Rev. Brian and Carol Babcock of Churchville, N.Y., and Dr. Bryce and Phyllis Babcock of North Adams, Mass.; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nephews. A graveside service was held at Ardena Baptist Church Cemetery, Howell. A memorial service in December will be held at the Ardena Baptist Church, Howell, with date to be announced.

MARGARET G. MACKEVICH, 78, of Freehold, died Nov. 23 at home after a battle with cancer. Born in Freehold, she was a lifelong resident. She was a secretary at Freehold High School for 35 years, retiring in September. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold. She was a member of the New Jersey Education Association. She was predeceased by her son, Walter Mackevich Jr. in 1958; and a granddaughter, Tiffany Carswell in 1981. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Scottie Carswell of Jackson, Patricia and Roger MacGillis of Freehold, and Laurie and Bob Misuro of Verona; her sister, Elizabeth Barlow of Manasquan; her sister-in-law, Irene McGackin of Freehold; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold. Interment was at St. Rose Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township.

MICHAEL BUNOCORE, 82, of Jersey City, died Nov. 25 in Freehold Township. Mr. Bunocore was born and raised in Hoboken. He served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps during World War II and was awarded the Bronze Star medal. He was a graduate of Pace Institute, New York City. Mr. Bunocore is survived by a sister-in-law, Rose Bunocore of Freehold; a nephew; and two nieces. Interment took place at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.

JOSEPH J. KUCHTA JR., 40, of Freehold Township, died Nov. 26 at home. Born in Passaic, he resided in Toms River prior to moving to Freehold Township in 1998. He was a technician at the LTA Group, Jamesburg, the past four years. He served with the U.S. Marines. He was predeceased by a son, Nico Kuchta in 1999; and his mother, Gloria Kuchta in 1993. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Costa Kuchta, two sons, Michael James Kuchta and Joseph J. Kuchta III, and a daughter, Gloria Anne Kuchta, all at home; his father, Joseph J. Kuchta Sr. of Saddle Brook; his brother and sister-in-law, Ernest and Cathy Kuchta of Clifton; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Susan and Ray Russell of Jackson, and Denise and Tim Seise of Jacksonville, Fla.; his father- and mother-in-law, Richard and Natalie Costa of Freehold Township; two brothers-in-law, Richard Costs and Joseph Costa, both Trenton; his sister-in-law, Angela Costa of Trenton; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service was offered by the Rev. Thomas J. O’Connor at C.H.T. Clayton and Son Funeral Home, Adelphia. Interment was at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent section of Manalapan.

SARAH JACKOWITZ, 75, of Freehold Township died Nov. 21 at the John L. Montgomery Care Center, Freehold Township. She was born in Long Branch. She was a stenographer and bookkeeper at Weston Labs, Eatontown. She was predeceased by her husband, Ben Jackowitz, in 1960. She is survived by her son, Robert Jackowitz, of Long Branch.
