The Grand Lodge Knights of Pythias, Domain of New Jersey, has provided more than 500 recharged and programmable cell phones to 9-1-1 to various special needs groups throughout the state since the summer of 2002.
Cerebral Palsy of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, Catholic Charities’ Providence House Battered Women’s Shelter, Livings ton Senior Citizen Center and a host of various deserving groups and agencies will be able to help their members’ needs because of the benevolent actions of the non-sectarian, fraternal order Knights of Pythias, Domain of New Jersey.
The Pythians are seeking donations of cell phones, computer equipment, hearing aids and eyeglasses. Any residents wishing to make a donation may call Sir Murky Greene, leader of the Pythians, at (973) 422-0330 or call Public Relations Chair-man Larry Kalb at (732) 920-7503.
