Plainsboro toy drive a success

   PLAINSBORO — The township Police Department and Policemen’s Benevolent Association Local No. 319’s 12th annual holiday toy drive for Toys for Tots proved to be a huge success.
   More than 1,500 new toys were collected and distributed to families in Plainsboro Township and organizations in both Mercer and Middlesex counties as well as to the U.S. Marine Corps, according to Patrolman Joseph Shedelbower of the township’s Community Policing Division.
   The Police Department issued its thanks to the following businesses and organizations for their participation and support:
   Al’s Sunoco, Princeton Junction; Super Fresh, Plainsboro Plaza; Kemper Environmental Insurance, Princeton Forrestal Village; PCR Tech Smart Business Driven, College Road East; Montessori Corner and Montessori Corner Country Day School, Plainsboro; West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North Interactive Club; Gentry Mothers’ Club, Plainsboro; Dr. Clifford J. Hochberg, The Office Center, Plainsboro; Willowbridge Associates Inc., Morgan Lane; and Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic, Princeton.
