Clarksburg Inn to host monthly ‘Comedy Night’

The Clarksburg Inn will be bringing comedy to the area every month, starting Jan. 11.

Philly funny-man Joey Callahan and the stars of 94.5 The Hawk radio show "The Free Beer and Hot Wings Show" will team up to help kick off the new year on Jan. 11. The Hawk will be on hand to host the show and give away prizes.

Callahan tops a bill that also features the skewed observational comedy of John Kensil and former Miss New Jersey turned comedienne Dena Blizzard.

Kensil, a regular at the Comic Strip in New York City, started as a joke writer for radio personalities from New York to Philadelphia, and went on to write for Jay Leno and Joan Rivers. Blizzard, Miss New Jersey 1996-96, hails from Runnemede.

Comedy Night at the Clarksburg Inn starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $20, or $15 for dinner patrons. The Clarksburg Inn is located at 465 Stagecoach Road (Route 524) in the Clarksburg section of Millstone. For reservations and further information, call (609) 259-2558.
