‘Sweet St. Paddy’s Day’

Professional dessert decorator Bonnie Brown will be the guest guide at "Sweet St. Paddy’s Day," a teen program set for 6-7 p.m. on March 13 at the Old Bridge Public Library Main Branch, Route 516 and Cottrell Road.

Participants in the program, which is open to ages 12-18, will try their own luck by decorating sweet treats for St. Patrick’s Day. Materials will be provided.

Congregation Beth Ohr, 70 Route 516, Old Bridge, will offer "Torathon 5763" beginning at 7:30 p.m. on March 8.

JFS organizing annual

Passover food drive

Jewish Family Services of Southern Middlesex County (JFS) is organizing its annual food drive to meet the needs of hundreds of Jewish families in the area who cannot afford Passover food.

The drive will benefit local families and individuals who lack sufficient income and also will aid newly arrived immigrants from the former Soviet Union. JFS will provide food and ritual objects for Seders and the entire Passover holiday.
