MILDRED T. LACH GARELICK, 81, of Key­port died March 13 at home. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry M. Garelick in 1951. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Tracy of the Morganville section of Marlboro; her sister, Freida Walinski of Bayonne; two brothers, Chester Lach of Old Bridge, and Henry Lach of Brick; four grand­children; and eight great-grandchildren.

MAE HELEN ARENDT, 90, of Milltown died March 17 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Her husband, Charles Arendt, died in 1976. Surviving are a niece and nephew, Arlene and James Delaney of Milltown; and three grandchildren, Laura and Mario Lepore of North Brunswick and James Delaney of Milltown. A Mass is planned for 9 a.m. on March 21 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Milltown. Interment will fol­low in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.

JOHN L. GEBHARDT, 87, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., formerly of New Brunswick and Milltown, died March 1 in Florida. The Gebhardt family farm, once located on Ryders Lane, is now a part of Cook College of Rutgers University, New Brunswick. Many of the Gebhardt farm buildings, notably the log cabin and the round livestock building, still remain on the Cook campus. Gebhardt’s wife, Merilyn, died in 1999. Surviving are two daughters, Carol MacAllister of Ocean Grove and Janet Miller of Ada, Mich.; four grand­children; and three great-grandchildren. Interment is planned for 2:30 p.m. on March 21 at Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick.

JESSIE DOMANSKI MAZUR, 101, of East Brunswick died March 14 at home. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter A. Mazur. Surviving are a daughter, Aldona Mazur of East Brunswick; a sister, Helen Delaney of East Brunswick; and a brother, Stanley Domanski, also of East Brunswick. Arrangements were under the direction of Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Brunswick.

MARCEL J. MICHALOWSKI, 85, of Spotswood died March 12 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Surviving are his wife, Anna Sliczynski Michalowski; three sons, Thaddeus and Leonard, both of Spotswood, and Paul of Saylorsburg, Pa.; a daughter, Patricia Hildreth of Lake Ariel, Pa.; a brother, Stanley Michalowski of Jamesburg; two sisters, Florence Petruska and Sophie Gruda, both of Monroe; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. A Mass was of­fered at Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood. Cremation was private.

LOUIS ODIERNO JR., 44, of East Brunswick, formerly of South River, died March 16 in the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia. Surviving are his wife, Susan Spengler Odierno; a son, Gregory Odierno of Florida; a daughter, Gina Odierno, also of Florida; two stepsons, David Madura and Danny Madura, both of East Brunswick; his mother, Marie Odierno of South River; his father, Louis Odierno of Florida; a brother, Alfred of Manchester; and a sister, Lucille Balazs of South River. A Mass is planned for 9:30 a.m. on March 21 at St. Bartholomew’s Church, East Brunswick. Entombment will fol­low in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.

DONALD BRUHN, 65, of the Columbus section of Mansfield, formerly of South River, died March 15 at home. Surviving are two daughters, Mariann Canal of Miami and Susann Eisner of Ormond Beach, Fla.; a nephew and a niece, Mark and Kim Wojciechowski, with whom he lived; five sis­ters, Anna Fratto of East Brunswick, Doris Dodd of San Diego, Janet Palermo of Allentown, Pa., Elaine Szegeti of South River and Marilyn Wojciechowski of Lantana, Fla.; two brothers, William Bruhn of East Brunswick and Raymond Bruhn of South River; three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Services were held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, East Brunswick. Interment was in Washington Monumental Cemetery, South River. RAMON A. RIVERA, 48, of Monroe, formerly of Manalapan, died March 17 in Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. Surviving are his wife, Amy; his mother, Altagracia of the Bronx, N.Y.; two sons, Jason Rivera of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Stephen Rivera of Monroe; two daughters, Christine Rivera of California and Tracy Rivera of Monroe; and three grandchildren. A funeral liturgy is planned for 10 a.m. on March 21 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Manalapan. Entombment will follow in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Marlboro.

GEZA STENGER SR., 78, of South River died March 13 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. His wife, Irene Lampert Stenger, died in 1996. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Geza and Sue Stenger, and a grandson, Michael Stenger. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in Washington Monumental Cemetery, South River.

MARTHA COOK, 91, of Old Bridge died March 14 in Old Bridge Manor. She was pre­deceased by her husband, Norman Cook. Surviving are two sons, Norman Cook of Hamilton, Va., and Michael of Spotswood; a sister-in-law, Clara Chorley; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson. A Mass was offered at Sacred Heart Church, New Brunswick. Cremation was private.

IGNATIUS KIERSNOWSKI KROSNOWSKI, 93, of Sayreville died March 18 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Surviving are his wife, Irene Miara Krosnowski; two daughters, Joan Sylvester of South River and Geri Grzym of East Brunswick; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A Mass is planned for 9 a.m. on March 21 at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Brunswick.

SHIRLEY MARCHUT PIATEK, 82, of Monroe, formerly of Sayreville, died March 14 at home. Her husband, Anthony J. Piatek, died in 1998. Surviving are a son, Anthony Piatek Jr.; a daughter, Dorothy Pickett, with whom she lived; a sister, Adeline Piscitelli of Sayreville; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson. A Mass was offered at St. Stanislaus Church, Sayreville. Interment was in the church cemetery.

ROSE T. MAZZA RUSSO, 86, of Old Bridge, formerly of East Brunswick, died March 16 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Her husband, Anthony Russo, died in 1982. Surviving are two daughters, Elaine Savino of East Brunswick and Joann Sasso of California; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. ROSE T. MAZZA RUSSO, 86, of Old Bridge, formerly of East Brunswick, died March 16 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Her husband, Anthony Russo, died in 1982. Surviving are two daughters, Elaine Savino of East Brunswick and Joann Sasso of California; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. FRANK J. "CHE-CHE" ALBANESE, 89, of South Amboy died March 12 in Bayshore Health Care Center, Holmdel. His wife, Sophie M. Lozinski Albanese, died in 2000, and a son, Francis J., died in 1955. Surviving are two sons, Michael J. and Theodore J. "TJ," both of South Amboy; a daughter, Frances Eileen Zygmond of Sayreville; two sisters, Mary M. Jablonski of South Amboy and Anna D. Trzaska of South River; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Mary’s Church, South Amboy. Interment was in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Keyport.

JOHN BERTRAM, 50, of Old Bridge died March 12 at home. Surviving are his wife, Ellen Kingsley Bertram; three daughters, Alice Marie, Victoria and Shannon; a brother, Robert Bertram of North Carolina; a step­daughter, Lark Sudol; and a step-grandson. Arrangements were under the direction of Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Cremation was private.

VERONICA M. CARROLL BONK of South Amboy died March 13 at her daugh­ter’s home in the Toms River section of Dover. Her husband, Stanley L. Bonk, died in 1993. Surviving are a son, James J. Bonk of Pompano Beach, Fla.; two daughters, Nancy Kozak of Vineland and Patricia Blyer-McFarlin of Toms River; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson. A Mass was offered at St. Mary’s Church, South Amboy. Interment was in the church cemetery.

GRACE E. RHEIN EZELL, 75, of Sayreville died March 11 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. Her husband, Frederick J. Ezell Sr., died in 1994, and a son, Michael David Ezell, died in 1977. Surviving are a son, Frederick J. Ezell Jr. of Cranford; a brother, Gustave Rhein of Middletown; three sisters, Elizabeth A. Milne of Sayreville, Helen C. Ryblewski of the Toms River section of Dover and Edith M. Gomez of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and two grandchildren. Services were under the direction of Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin section of Sayreville.

KATELYNN M. RUDY, infant, died March 10 in Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Surviving are her parents, Nicole and Kenneth Rudy of South Amboy; her pa­ternal grandparents, Marilyn and Joseph Rudy of Sayreville; her maternal grandmother, Elaine Christine of the Avenel section of Woodbridge; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service was held at Grace Lutheran Church, Perth Amboy. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for donation to selected charities.

FLORENCE T. RUPINSKI, 72, of Old Bridge, formerly of the Laurence Harbor sec­tion of Old Bridge, died March 10 in Madison Center, Old Bridge. Surviving are a daughter, Susan Kennedy of East Windsor; two sons, John James Rupinski Jr. of Kansas City, Mo., and Richard Robert Rupinski of Laurence Harbor; a brother, Edward Ciempola of Somerville; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. A Mass was offered at St. Lawrence Church, Lawrence Harbor. Cremation was private.
