A Taste of Kindness
to benefit Women Aware
Women Aware Inc., New Brunswick, will hold its annual fund-raiser, Soup Kitchen — A Taste of Kindness, from 6-8:30 p.m. on April 14 at the Pines Manor, Route 27, Edison.
Tickets cost $35 in advance, $40 at the door.
Women Aware is Middlesex County’s shelter for battered women and their children. Proceeds will benefit the children’s program at the shelter.

AHA to offer free CPR training April 5, 6
The American Heart Association (AHA), North Brunswick, will offer free CPR training during American Heart Association CPR Weekend, April 5 and 6. More than 40 locations statewide will take part in the event. Morning and afternoon sessions will be available for the two-hour course, "CPR for Family and Friends."
