Karp will offer fresh, innovative perspective

It is my pleasure to offer this letter of support to the candidacy of Dr. Susan Karp for the East Brunswick Board of Education.

I have known Sue for many years as a colleague at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where she has been both a valued faculty member in the Department of Pediatrics and a great role model for Robert Wood Johnson medical students in her position as associate dean for student affairs.

Without question, Sue’s commitment to her patients and her beloved students has given her all the experience necessary to help guide our school system in this new millennium. I was thrilled when I heard that she had decided to seek this office. Her compassion, level-headed thinking and absolute drive to ensure a strong and proper education for her students gives her a unique opportunity to bring a new and insightful perspective to the board.

As a longtime East Brunswick resident and a product of the East Brunswick public school system, I urge all my fellow East Brunswick residents to vote for Dr. Susan Karp on April 15. She is exactly what we need to ensure a fresh and innovative voice on our Board of Education, guaranteeing our children a future of continued excellence in the best school system in the state of New Jersey.

Andrew Boyarsky, M.D.
