O’Brien will aim for good education at sensible cost

On April 15, Spotswood will elect members of the Board of Education. School board elections are usually marked by low voter turnout and general apathy. Somewhere after the election, the citizens of Spotswood will vote down the school budget (a town tradition).

This year, there is an excellent reason to get out and vote on April 15. He is Rich O’Brien. We need to have people we can trust on the board so we can stop voting down the school budget. I have known Rich for 15 years. He is an intelligent and practical individual. He’s a dedicated law enforcement officer who also devotes time to his family and his community. He has coached baseball and soccer in Spotswood for more than a decade. Above all else, Rich O’Brien is trustworthy and reliable.

Spotswood needs to have people like Rich on the Board of Education so it can be presented with an annual school budget which will provide every child in Spotswood a premium education at a reasonable cost.

Please vote on April 15, and vote for Rich O’Brien.
