Dorothy C. Monahan

   Dorothy C. Monahan, 80, of Yardley Pa. died Monday at home.
   Born in Brooklyn N.Y., she was a retired secretary for the Thomas J. Hogan Insurance Co., New York City.
   She had resided in Hopewell Township from 1977 to 1993 before moving to Yardley Pa. She was a member of St. James R. C. Church where she was a volunteer in the Resource Room. She also was a volunteer at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Langhorne, Pa.
   Daughter of the late George W. and Catherine T. Glaser Conord, she is survived by her husband, Thomas J. Monahan; three sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas J. Jr. and Elizabeth Monahan of Montauk, N.Y., John M. and Kate Monahan of Arcata, Calif., Gregory J. and Sue Monahan of Yorkville, Ill.; a brother, Raymond Conord of Queens County N.Y.; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held today (Thursday) at 8 p.m. at St. James R.C. Church, 115 E. Delaware Ave., Pennington.
   Friends may call today (Thursday) at the church from 6 p.m. until time of Mass.
   Burial will be in the Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, L.I., at noon on Friday.
   In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. James R. C. Church, Adult Education Resource Room, 115 E. Delaware Ave., Pennington, 08534, or St. Mary’s Medical Center Foundation, Healing Garden, Langhorne-Newtown Road, Langhorne, Pa., 19047.
