OBITUARY: Ernest J. "Ernie" Ranucci

   Ernest J. "Ernie" Ranucci, 79, died Thursday, April 10, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
   Born in Martin, Pa., he was a lifelong area resident. Mr. Ranucci was employed with Lawrence Hose as a hose maker for over 25 years before his retirement. Following his retirement, he was a security guard for Pinkerton Security for many years. Mr. Ranucci was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He loved cars and fishing.
   His parents, Julia Vannozzi Ranucci and Ernesto Ranucci, are deceased. He is survived by Patricia Ranucci of Springfield Township: four daughters and sons-in-law, Joanne J. and Dave J. Moore of Levittown, Pa., Helen M. and Gary Kater of Springfield, Lorraine and Rennie Funari of Trenton and Patty and Butch Dunn of Springfield; two brothers, Warren and Gino Ranucci, both of Hamilton; nine grandchildren, David Moore, Patricia Colella, Stephanie Kater, Bobby and Michael Hageman, Lauren Dunn, Lisa Willaver, and Anthony and Paula Funari; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 16, from the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square. A Funeral Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church, 3816 E. State Street Extension, Mercerville.
   Interment followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton Township.
