Child car seat safety to be topic at MOMTalk

East Brunswick police officer Kevin Steinbeck will discuss child car seat safety at the next meeting of MOMTalk, a parenting education and support group, set for 10 a.m. on April 29 at East Brunswick Congregational Church, 402 New Brunswick Ave. The discussion will begin at 10:30 a.m.

Officer Steinbeck will present safety tips for installing car seats and will review safety laws for all children, infants through adolescents.

MOMTalk meets the first and third Tuesdays of every month from 10 a.m. to noon at the East Brunswick Congregational Church.

Parents have the opportunity to participate in group conversation while their children play in the same room.

Participants may drop in for any amount of the two-hour meeting.

The group encourages parents with children of all ages to connect, support, educate, and empower each other and to provide resources and services to the community.
