BIASE "BENNY" MARAZITA, 85, of Howell died April 15 at home. He was born in New York City, and lived in Neptune before moving to Howell in 1952. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during World War II. He was an auto mechanic at Matthews Chevrolet, Farmingdale, for 38 years, retiring in 1980. Following retirement, he worked as a part-time delivery person for Lakewood Auto Parts, Neptune and Lakewood, from 1981 to 1993. He was a member of the Squankum United Methodist Church, Howell. He was predeceased by three brothers, Joseph, James and Luigi (Louie) Marazita; and three sisters, Rose Nuzzi, Margaret (Peggy) Graziano and Mary Cruzan. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Alma Bills Marazita of Howell; a son, Timothy Marazita of Howell; two daughters and sons-in-law, Gwendolyn and Charles Linn of New York, and Susan and Daniel Dennis of Ohio; two sisters, Bridget Erving and Lucia Arcangelo, both of Brick; three sisters-in-law, Margaret Johnson of Ortley Beach, Anna Marazita of Freehold, and Shirley Marazita of North Carolina; three granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews. RUTH VICTORIA LUND DUHRKOPP, 85, of East Brunswick, formerly of Spotswood, died April 10 at home. Her husband, Arnold, died in 1989. Surviving are three sons, Arnold M. Duhrkopp of California, Lyn E. Duhrkopp of Monroe and Mark A. Duhrkopp of East Brunswick; a daughter, Susan Ruth Spears of Brick; three brothers, Walter Lund of Florida, Ted Lund of Wayne and Ed Lund of New York; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
