Spanish dance company to offer May 17 ‘Pasíon’
The Alborada Spanish Dance Theatre, East Brunswick, will present Pasíon: The Passion of Flamenco and the Argentinean Tango at 8 p.m. on May 17 at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (the old Neptune High School), Main Avenue, Ocean Grove.
The production, which will feature a recreation of a typical 1950s Havana nightclub, will offer international acts from Spain and Argentina.
Performers will include Lisa Botalico, Ricki Santiago, David Castellano, Eva Lucena, Chavela, Gisele Revollar, Carlos Revollar, Peter Basil, Adele del Principe, Teresa Rodriguez and Caterina Carr. Guest artists will be Virginia Kelly and David Tom of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Tickets cost $16 in advance, $18 at the door. Group discounts are available.
