Sacred Heart Carnival
planned for May 20-24
The annual Sacred Heart Parish Carnival will be held from 6-10 p.m. on May 20, 21 and 22 and from 6-11 p.m. on May 23 and 24 in the parking lot of the church, located between Washington Avenue and Main Street, South Amboy.
The event will feature carnival rides and games.
A food tent will offer a Polish platter with homemade pierogies, stuffed cabbage and kielbasi; sausage with peppers and onions; hot dogs; hamburgers; french fries; and more. Takeouts will be available.
Two 50/50 raffles will be held each night.
In addition to the 50/50, there will also be a "super" 50/50 on May 24.
Advance-sale ride tickets are available 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Mondays-Fridays, at Sacred Heart School, Cedar Street, South Amboy; at the Sacred Heart Church parish office, Feltus Street; and at Foodtown of South Amboy, Bordentown Avenue.
