America Cancer Society thankful for volunteers’ commitment

On behalf of the American Cancer Society (ACS) of New Jersey and New York, and in celebration of Volunteer Appreciation Week, we extend our sincere gratitude to the thousands of volunteers in central New Jersey who continuously show outstanding commitment in the fight against cancer.

Thanks to American Cancer Society volunteers, we are closer than ever to accomplishing our mission of reducing cancer incidence by 25 percent, and mortality by 50 percent, and measurably improving quality of life for cancer survivors.

Whether raising funds, providing services to patients and their families, or by supporting advocacy efforts, each volunteer’s gift enables the American Cancer Society to reduce the burden of cancer on the American public.

Thank you to all of our volunteers for answering the call to service.
