Borough volunteer rates re-election for his dedication, service

I would like to take this opportunity to tell my Melrose neighbors about their neighbor, George Podolak, who is running for re-election as Democratic Committeeman.

George attends all meetings of the Melrose Improvement Association, of which I am president, and listens to our needs and concerns. He has been very active in helping to solve problems in Melrose. George was a big help recently in getting the roads paved in upper Melrose by arranging to have our mayor and Borough Council members attend our meetings. He was responsible for getting the guardrails replaced on Andrejewski Drive.

George and I attended all state highway meetings that pertain to the road projects, bridges and Victory Circle. We both have had meetings with the sewerage authority when necessary. George has requested and received help from neighboring towns when we had problems with flooding on Scott Avenue.

He has shown dedication without fanfare. For this, he will receive my support in the upcoming primary election on June 3. I hope George Podolak can depend on your vote, also.
