Local talent showcased through library student art displays

Over the course of the past year, the Friends of the Sayreville Public Library coordinated a project wherein the artwork of the children in our schools was displayed in the children’s room of the library. Each month, the art from a different school was displayed by the art teacher from the school. These displays brightened the children’s room while also showcasing the talent of our local students.

On behalf of the Friends of the Sayreville Public Library, I would like to thank the art teachers of Sayreville War Memorial High School, Sayreville Middle School and the four Sayreville elementary schools for their participation in this activity. Thanks as well to Robert Hudock, humanities supervisor, who assisted in the coordination of the project. I would also like to commend our students for the talent displayed each month.

Please visit the library each month next year to see more artwork from our talented students.
