The League of Women Voters (LWV) of Monmouth County held its 35th annual convention in late May at Brookdale Community College, Lincroft section of Middletown. Area individuals elected as officers for 2003-04 were Zena Gurman, Tinton Falls, second vice president, and Don Curtis, Oakhurst section of Ocean Township, treasurer. Mary Andrews, Rumson, will serve as budget chairwoman. League president is Esther Greenberg, Marlboro.
