The Healthcare Resource Center of the Community Foundation of New Jersey, Monmouth Beach, recently granted $40,000 to the Parker Family Health Clinic, Red Bank.
Funds will be used to support the clinic’s chronic disease program, syndrome X disease management, and to hire a nurse practitioner to monitor patients with diabetes, hypertension and hyperlipidemia.
The nonprofit health center is a volunteer-based facility that provides access to health care to individuals in need.
