School uniforms should be considered for public high schools because they bring people together, help diminish conflict among youth and save parents money.
Schools that have uniforms already see the good that comes from it. I feel strongly that school uniforms can help kids in school.
When school uniforms come into play, there is less chance of someone getting harassed. In areas where there are gangs, clothes mean a lot. If someone wears the wrong clothing it could mean his or her death. This is why school uniforms should be adopted by school systems.
School uniforms can also help save students and their families save money. In society today, students thrive on image. In turn it cost their parents a fortune. By implementing school uniforms parents can hold onto their savings. Most school uniforms cost around $40 for a set of shirt and pants. So this is economically affordable.
Schools that have uniforms already see the benefits; so why not ours? Uniforms save lives and put students on a common ground. Most importantly school uniforms save money.
