Rutgers University will host its rescheduled Youth Soccer Clinic for Volunteer Coaches on Aug. 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Hale Center/Busch Bubble in Piscataway. Scarlet Knights coach Bob Reasso will lead the clinic, which was postponed earlier this year due to a February snowstorm. The clinic is designed to teach volunteer coaches proper training techniques, including warm-ups, possession and goalkeeper play, with an emphasis on injury prevention. The deadline for registration is Aug. 11. The fee is $25 and includes lunch. For more information, call (732) 932-6537.

The following is the results of the Tamarack Women’s 18-Hole Golf Association’s July 15 Low Gross/Low Net Tournament. In Flight A, Rita Reisert had low gross of 88 while Blenda Langone had first place low net of 69, and Ann Lin had second low net of 70. Chung Hee Lee had low putts of 33. In Flight B, Linda Weintraub had low gross of 96 while Carol Elkins had first place low net of 66, and Fay Jarvis (m/c) had 70. Tres Wist had low putts of 33. In Flight C, Elaine Gerstein (m/c) had low gross of 111 while Jean Hetzler had first place low net of 71, and Jean Ertle had second low net of 79. Edythe Gutman had low putts of 32.
