Cruise night to feature
cars and motorcycles
A Cruise Night, hosted by Cruisin’ Knights will be held Aug. 19, 6-10 p.m., on the corner of Route 9 north and Casino Drive. The event will be sponsored by Good Cookers Café and will feature classic cars from 1978 and before as well as motorcycles. DJ Wolfman Jerry will provide music. There will also be a food court. Jazz ensemble will hold
final summer concert
Lakewood Township Recreation Director and Community School administrator Michael A. Matta announced the Lakewood Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Wilbur Wittemann, will conclude this year’s "Summer Carousel of Music" series tour with performances at FirstEnergy Park, BlueClaws stadium, Aug. 21 at 6 p.m. and again on Aug. 24 at the Lake Carasaljo Amphitheater at 5 p.m. Details: (732) 905-3685.
