An 11U AAU travel baseball team has a few positions open on its roster (next years 12U, must not turn 13 before August 1, 2004). The New Jersey Cobras, an 11U travel baseball team that is now turning 12U for the fall will be conducting tryouts for its team. Tryouts are being held this week, and will continue today at Tantum Park in Robbinsville at 6 p.m. Sunday at 9 a.m. at Tantum Park and Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Tantum Park.
All interested players can not turn 13 before Aug. 1, 2004. This team is open to all 11/12 year old players using next years league age. This is a competitive travel team that plays on games on Saturdays and Sundays and has one practice during the week. Travel includes trips to PA, DE, MD and next year to Cooperstown to play in the Dreams Park Tournament in August.

Tantum Park is located off of Route 130 and Meadowbrook Road in Robbinsville (Washington Township).
A USA Hockey-sanctioned league will hold registration at the Jackson Justice Complex on Aug. 24 from 10 a.m. to noon. Teams are currently forming for the fall league, which will begin in September and run through November. Registration fee is $100 for the 10-week session. The league will practice at the Jackson Justice Complex hockey rink.
All players are required to register with USA Hockey to play on the Jackson Roller Hockey League. The fee for registration is $25 and is a one-time fee per calendar year. There is also a $25 fee to keep a hockey jersey. Please bring proof of residency and copy of birth certificate, as well as skates. For more information, call (732) 364-2608.
