As a trustee of several organizations and president of two, I am appalled and embarrassed by the actions of the trustees of The Villages community of Howell.
The majority of the trustees and especially the president show contempt for the residents and belittle them at meetings when they speak.
The Villages is being run by a management company that has no regard for the people and often are rude and disrespectful to the elderly living here. The meetings are most unpleasant.
Instead of using Robert’s Rules, they have made up their own rules, thus having chaos most of the time. I know more people would attend these meetings if they were treated with respect.
I sincerely hope with a new election in November the newly elected will be courteous to everyone.
