‘Fall Clean Sweep’ in Ocean Township Oct. 26
Ocean Township’s Clean Communities Advisory Committee will hold its "Fall Clean Sweep" Oct. 26 at several sites in the township (rain date Nov. 2). Registration will be from 12:30-1 p.m., and the sweep will be from 1-3 p.m. Participants should meet at West Park Avenue Recreation Center.
Teams will be formed and assigned an area to pick up litter. Gloves and bags will be provided and free T-shirts will be distributed. Following the sweep, refreshments will be served at the recreation center. Volunteers should wear light-colored long pants and long-sleeve shirts. Participants should also check for ticks when arriving home.
