anti-poverty forum set
The Anti-Poverty Network of New Jersey will host an information-sharing forum Oct. 28 at the Georgian Court College Casino auditorium in Lakewood.
The event, which will begin at 6:30 p.m., will focus on the issues of housing, employment, health care and child care for lower wage workers, the disabled and the unemployed.
Participants will include faith-based organizations, individuals currently living in poverty, advocacy organizations, labor unions, and interested citizens of Monmouth and Ocean counties. For information, call (732) 928-9117.
