Alborada to perform dramatic ‘Trilogy’

The Alborada Spanish Dance Theatre, East Brunswick, will present a production of "Trilogy" at 8 p.m. on Nov. 8 at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (the old Neptune High School), Ocean Grove.

A two-part flamenco dance drama titled "El Amor Brujo," starring international artists Peter Suarez and Lisa Botalico, will open the performance.

Light flamenco gypsy dances such as "Andalucia," "Guajiras" and "Verdiales" will follow. The third part of the program will be "The Smugglers’ Cave" featuring duels, laments and duets.

Guest artists and featured performers will include Joel Rudin, Jed Distler, Gisele Revollar, David Castellano, Eva Lucena and Chavela. David Castellano will present flamenco songs, with musical accompaniment by Carlos Revollar and Peter Basil.
