Fort members to take part in Veterans Day events

Representatives from Fort Monmouth will be guest speakers at various area Veterans Day ceremonies Nov. 11.

Major Gen. William H. Russ, CECOM and Fort Monmouth commanding general, will speak at the Eatontown American Legion Veterans Day service at 11 a.m. at Wampum Park, Broad. Street.

Brig. Gen. Michael Mazzucchi, program executive officer at Command, Control and Communications-Tactical, will be guest speaker at the Borough of Oceanport Veterans Day service at borough hall at 11 a.m.

Command Sgt. Maj. Jeffrey M. Delgado will speak at Fort Monmouth’s services at the World War II Monument, Greely Field, at 11 a.m.

Col. Bill Stevenson, deputy program executive officer, Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors, will speak at the American Legion Red Bank Post Veterans Day services at 11 a.m.

Lt. Col. Thomas G. Hood, assistant program manager, Maneuver Control System, will speak at the Long Branch Middle School Veterans Day assembly at 9 a.m.

Lt. Col. John Bullington, product manager, Blue Force Tracking, will be the guest speaker at the Monmouth Beach service at borough hall at 11 a.m.

Lt. Col. Eugene Coddington, U.S. Military Academy Preparatory School deputy commandant, will be the guest speaker at Seabrook Village, Tinton Falls, at 11 a.m.

Soldiers from the Fort Monmouth Garrison Headquarters Company will take part in a Veterans Day ceremony at Maple Place School in Oceanport at 9 a.m.
