Giovannina "Janis" Bonanno BianchiMrs. Bianchi, 82, of Middletown died Oct. 22 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in New York City, she resided in Newark before moving to Middletown 42 years ago. She was a beautician and cosmetologist at Harbour Island Spa, Long Branch, for 20 years, retiring in 1989. She also worked at several beauty salons in the area. She was a member of the Middletown Senior Club. Mrs. Bianchi was predeceased by two brothers, John and Luke Bonanno. She is survived by her husband, Ugo P. Bianchi of Keansburg; five sons and four daughters-in-law, Leonard Bianchi and Jean Howson of Atlantic Highlands, Howard Bianchi of Oakland, Calif., Hugo and Randi Yaffee-Bianchi of Tinton Falls, Timothy and Mary Cooper-Bianchi of Fair Haven, and Geoffrey and Judy Bianchi of Duluth, Minn.; a daughter and son-in-law, Josiana Bianchi and Peter Blum of Red Bank; two brothers, Anthony Bonanno of Shrewsbury and Humbert Bonanno of Las Vegas; four sisters, Anne Motycka of Sparks, Nev.; Rose Scotti of Little Silver; Mary Moseley of Seattle, Wash.; and Loretta Powell of El Paso, Texas; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Benante, 85, of Monmouth Beach died Oct. 29 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he resided in Oceanport for 40 years before moving to Monmouth Beach in 2002. He was a supervisor of research in pathology at the Veterans Hospital, East Orange, for 30 years, retiring in 1972. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II, from 1942-45. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2140, Long Branch. Mr. Benante is survived by his wife, Concetta Valentino Benante; and a son, Carl Benante of Monmouth Beach. Mrs. Morales, 68, of Red Bank died Oct. 21 at St. Barnabas Hospice, Long Branch. Born in Camuy, Puerto Rico, she had been a resident of Red Bank for more than 40 years. She was a homemaker, and a seamstress at various apparel companies in the Red Bank area. She was a communicant of Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, Rumson. She enjoyed time with her family, cooking and collecting dolls. She was predeceased by her first husband, Juan P. Nieves. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Jose Carrero of Red Bank; six sons and four daughters-in-law, Juan P. and Gloria Nieves of New Mexico, Berto and Angela Nieves of Florida, Jose Nieves of Florida, and Orlando Nieves, and Victor and Lisa Nieves, all of New Jersey; four daughters and one son-in-law, Olga Nieves, Annie and Quiency Frazier, Hilda Nieves and Evelyn Nieves, all of New Jersey; 24 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several stepsons and step­daughters. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Holy Cross Church. Interment was at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.

Clementine "Ginger" Haberski Kucmyda

Mrs. Kucmyda, 87, of Keansburg died Oct. 21 at Bayside Manor, Keansburg. Born in Linden, she had been a resident of the Middletown area since 1958. She was a seamstress for several companies for 25 years, retiring in 1988. Mrs. Kucmyda was predeceased by her husband, Charles Kucmyda, in 1991; a sister, Lillian Konecni; and a brother, Victor Haberski. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Roberta Kucmyda of Hazleton, Pa.; three daughters, Barbara Thayer of Tinton Falls, Dolores Uras of Middletown, and Linda Gould of Marlton; a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and LaVerne Haberski of Emerson; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Catherine’s Roman Catholic Church, North Middletown. Burial was at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements were by John F.
