The Volunteer Center of Monmouth County, Oakhurst section of Ocean Township, is seeking a dispatcher for a Shrewsbury nonprofit two or three days a week. Individual will coordinate rides for cancer patients going for treatments.
Help is needed to prepare food for delivery, and to help load and unload in delivery areas from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Also needed are donations of brown and plastic bags to use as containers. An Oakhurst agency needs a van driver to disperse food, coats and gifts to children, families and other agencies during the holidays. Schedule is flexible.
The U.S. Marine program "Toys for Tots" needs help during December to help sort and distribute toys. A Red Bank nonprofit needs volunteers during the holidays to "adopt" a family, assist with a clothing drive, and perform clerical duties.
