In last week’s issue of The Hub, Rumson landscaper Joe Lagrotteria’s name was misspelled in the "Fair Haven residents sound off over noise ordinance" story. Lagrotteria also was quoted as saying, "You talk about the residents’ quality of life. These [residents] commute to work, they take the train and now they’ll have to come home and mow the lawn. These are the times that can be spent with their children. You’re not improving their quality of life."

Lagrotteria said he was referring to residents in town who do not have professional landscapers.

"The mayor and council were seeking to improve the borough’s quality of life by passing a noise ordinance. In turn, residents who don’t have landscapers would now have to take time out of their weekend family time to mow their lawn because of this restriction," he said.
