holds holiday show
Edison Township will hold its annual holiday show for Edison children 2 years old through 5th grade.
The two shows, to be held at the Stelton Community Center, 328 Plainfield Ave., Edison, are scheduled for Dec. 21 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. and 3 to 4:30 p.m.
A limited number of people will be admitted to each show. All children must be accompanied by an adult (one child per adult).
Due to limited seating, free tickets will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis, beginning at the Stelton Community Center, 328 Plainfield Ave. and the Minnie B. Veal Community Center, 1070 Grove Ave.
Every child should bring an unwrapped new toy as an "entrance fee."

Adult art classes
offered for winter 2004
The Edison Arts Society will offer its daytime adult art classes in the main meeting room, north branch of the Edison Library, 777 Grove Ave., Edison.
Classes in botanical watercolor techniques by Linda Trella will begin the week of Jan. 8, and will be held on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Feb. 19. The cost is $140.
Classes in basic realistic drawing by Ray Skibinski will run Jan. 19 through March 8 on Tuesdays from noon to 2:30 p.m. The cost is $115.
Both classes offer a 15-percent discount to senior citizens and Edison Arts Society members.

Edison Garden Club
holds monthly meeting
The Edison Garden Club will hold its monthly meeting, Jan. 12, 7 p.m., in the conference room, main branch of the Edison Public Library, 340 Plainfield Ave., Edison.
The program will feature a special presentation of the Iris Gardens , Montclair.
