Bingo at Congregation Beth Ohr Dec. 30
Congregation Beth Ohr, 70 Route 516, Old Bridge, will hold its next bingo game Dec. 30 at 7:45 p.m. (doors open at 7 p.m.). The game will feature cash prizes.
The book club will hold its next meeting Jan. 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Susan and Jonathan Lubliner. Discussion will be the book "Sleeping On A Wire," by David Grossman. "Genesis" series interfaith adult education classes will be Jan. 5 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Ambrose Church, 96 Throckmorton Lane. "The binding of Isaac" will be discussed.
The class will also be Jan. 19 at 7:30 p.m., with topic of discussion "Joseph and his brothers."
Session three of the congregation’s "Jewish Medical Ethics" series will be presented Jan. 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the congregation, with topics such as the beginning of life, abortion and sterilization.
Session four will be Jan. 26 at 7:30 p.m., with topics discussed to include euthanasia, health care proxies and health care directives. For more information on the above, call Beth Ohr at (732) 257-1523.
