Jazz association meeting slated for Jan. 7
The Central Jersey Jazz Association, Old Bridge, will hold its next meeting Jan. 7 from 7:30-9:30 p.m. at the North Brunswick Municipal Complex, 710 Hermann Road.
The event will feature presentations of various styles of piano music including ragtime, bop and jazz. Herb Gordon will present the discussion, which will include the music of Jelly Roll Morton, Oscar Peterson and Thelonius Monk.

Teen Career Day
coming to O.B. Library
The Old Bridge Public Library, Route 516 and Cottrell Road, will hold its first Teen Career Day from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 10.
Professionals in the fields of law enforcement, health and fitness, medicine, finance, communications and more will be in attendance to offer career information and answer questions.
Teens also will participate in a workshop and learn how to find career information at the library.
