Adele (Chernook) Huff, 81, of Monroe, died, Saturday, Jan. 3, at her home.
Born in Detroit, Ms. Huff lived in Queens, N.Y., before moving to Clearbrook in Monroe in 1975. She was employed for 23 years as an assistant secretary for the Manufacturers Hanover Trust Bank, New York City, retiring in 1985. She was a board member at Clearbrook and a member of the Clearbrook Chapter of Deborah.
Her husband, Robert E. Huff, died in 1993. She is survived by two sisters, Felicia Brozowski of Monroe and Dorothy Chernook of Elcajon, Calif.; two nieces; and four nephews.
Services were held Tuesday, Jan. 6, at Lester Memorial Home, 16 W. Church St., Jamesburg, followed by a funeral liturgy at St. James R.C. Church, Jamesburg. Burial was in Holy Cross Burial Park.
