Fannie (Stampfel) Stravic, 96, of Monroe, died Monday, Jan. 5, at Avante at Red Bank in Red Bank.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Ms. Stravic lived there until moving to Monroe in 1943.
She is survived by her son, Henry Jr. of Red Bank; a brother, Joseph Stampfel of Monroe; three granddaughters, Gina, Rita and Karen; and four grandsons, Marco, John, James and Thomas.
Services were held Thursday, Jan. 8, at Lester Memorial Home, 16 W. Church St., Jamesburg, followed by a funeral liturgy at St. James R.C. Church, Jamesburg. Burial was held at St. James Cemetery, Jamesburg.
