Polly E. (Goodman) Sable, 97, died Thursday, Nov. 20, at home.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she resided most of her life in Manhattan, moving to Concordia in Monroe in 1984. She received a bachelor’s degree in English from Hunter College in 1931. She was active with the League of Women Voters in New York City and the Free Nurses, also in New York City.
Private funeral services and cremation were under the supervision of M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Monroe.
