JFK employee invites visitors to chapel

The cartoon you printed in a recent edition of this newspaper was mean-spirited and completely out of order. The new chapel at JFK Medical Center is a warm, inviting house of worship for all people. Our employees and visitors alike have a comfortable place for quiet reflection, prayer and peace.

I commend and thank JFK and its administration and foundation office for recognizing and acting upon the needs of the community it serves. It has recognized the significant benefits of spiritual healing in conjunction with quality health care.

I invite you, the editors of this paper, to put your meanness aside and come to our "Place of Prayer" where you, too, may find peace, compassion and kindness.
