Elizabeth G. (Nelson) Rodriguez, 84, of South Brunswick, died Thursday, Jan. 8, at Francis E. Parker Memorial Home in Piscataway.
Born in Clifftop, W.Va., she lived in Newark and Florida before moving to South Brunswick in 1994. She was an assembler at Federal Pacific Electric in Newark for 10 years before retiring in 1962.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Norma J. and Richard Stemming of South Brunswick; a son and daughter-in-law, Castor and Gail Rodriguez of Cartersville, Ga.; two daughters from a previous marriage, Yvonne Dickenson of Illinois and Leona Ladota of Iselin; three grandchildren, Richard M. Stemming and his wife, Jennifer, of Manalapan, and Katherine and Elizabeth Rodriguez of Georgia; three great-grandchildren, Alexis, Max and Manny; and a niece, Deanna Krauss of Pittman.
Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 12, at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Burial followed at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery, Colonia. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 299 Cherry Hill Road, Parsippany, N.J. 07054.
