Slawomir ‘Stan’ Nowak, 57, of Kendall Park died Thursday, Jan. 8, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.
Born and raised in Lodz, Poland, he resided there until moving to the United States in 1971. He resided in Cranbury for 20 years, and last resided in Kendall Park. He was employed as an auto technician with various auto dealerships: Princeton BMW, Middlesex Foreign Cars and, most recently, Open Road BMW in Edison. Mr. Nowak touched the lives of many. He was a giving and caring person who would help anyone in need.
He is survived by his wife, Joanna Sidwa Nowak; many aunts, uncles and cousins in Poland; as well as co-workers and friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 15, at M.J. Murphy Funeral Home, 616 Ridge Road at New Road, Monmouth Junction. Cremation will follow in Ewing Cemetery, Ewing Township.
