Mrs. Vago, 86, of Lakewood died Jan. 9 at home. Born in Union City, she resided in Morristown and Weehawken before moving to Lakewood 25 years ago. Mrs. Vago was an account manager at Beneficial Finance Corp., Jersey City and Morristown, before her retirement. She was a member of the Church of the Visitation, Brick. She was past vice president at Seton Hall University Mother Guild for the School of Nursing, and the Michaelian Guild at St. Michael’s High School, Union City. She enjoyed time with her family. Mrs. Vago was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Libero "Lee" Vago, in 1985; a brother, Michael Legge; and two sisters, Mary Phillips and Clara Legge. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra Lee and Ron Martin of Marlboro, and Susan Jo and Robert Sorokolit of Rumson; a sister, Frances Legge of Lakewood; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a niece and nephew. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, Rumson. Interment was at Madonna Cemetery and Mausoleum, Fort Lee. The John E. Timothy Ford
Mr. Ford, 38, of South Orange died Jan. 12 in South Orange Township. Born in Lakewood, he had resided in Howell, Toms River, and Delray Beach, Fla., before moving to South Orange six months ago. Mr. Ford was an accountant at Advanced Health Media, Orange, the past year. He was predeceased by his father, Jon Ford Sr.; and a sister, Mary Margaret Ford. He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Ford of Long Branch; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Jon Ford Jr. of New York City, and Patrick C. Ford and Cassie Halka of South Orange; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Elizabeth and John Wilson of Seattle, and Victoria and Ron Thomas of Orange, Conn.; two nephews; and four nieces. Interment was at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. The Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.
William Charles Hahn
Mr. Hahn, 63, of Beachwood died Jan. 12 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Paterson, he had lived on McGuire Air Force Base before moving to Beachwood in 1968, and was a very active member of the First Baptist Church, Lakewood, where he had held many titles. A U.S. Air Force Vietnam veteran, he was a physics teacher for 35 years at Toms River High School North prior to retiring in 1997. Since retiring, he had worked as chief financial officer at See & Swim School, Bayville. Surviving are his wife, Ruth (née Piper) Hahn; two sons, Mark Hahn of San Jose, Calif., and Michael Hahn of Beachwood; a daughter, Jackie (Sheri) McGloughlin of Sacramento, Calif.; a sister, Bernice Hirschauer of Baltimore; and five grandchildren. A funeral service was held at the First Baptist Church, followed by cremation, which was private. D’Elia Funeral Home, Lakewood, was in charge of arrangements. Etta M. Randle
Mrs. Randle, 95, of Lakewood died Jan. 17 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born in Indianapolis, Ind., she had lived in Waltham, Mass., before moving to Lakewood three years ago. She graduated as a registered nurse from Addison Gilbert Hospital, Gloucester, Mass., and in 1940 resumed her music studies and career as a voice instructor. She was a member of various singing groups in Waltham and the Greater Boston area. In 1956 she was appointed to the faculty at Boston’s Chaloff School of Music and also taught voice from her home studio prior to retiring in 1998. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Albert C. Randle, and two brothers, Harold and William Harris. Surviving are a son, Herbert H. Randle of Weston, Mass.; a daughter, Bette J. Bates of Lakewood; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held in Massachusetts at a later date at the First Baptist Church of Weston, followed by burial at Springfield West Baptist Cemetery, O’Leary, Prince Edward Island, Canada. Doris B. Bandarenko
Mrs. Bandarenko, 75, of Lakewood died Jan. 19 at home. Born in New York, she resided in Middletown and Florida before moving to Lakewood three years ago. Mrs. Bandarenko was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, Lakewood. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, John J. Bandarenko; a daughter; Lisa Bandarenko; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jacquie Bandarenko; three sisters, Gloria Creazzo, Celeste DeSilvio and Ann Panzarino; and four grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Holy Family Church, Lakewood. Burial was at Holmdel Cemetery.
Albert O’Hara
Mr. O’Hara, 66, of Lakewood died Jan. 15 at home. Born in Howell, he had lived in Lakewood all his life. Surviving are his wife, Kathy O’Hara; a son, Albert O’Hara of Lakewood; and a sister, Helen O’Hara of Virginia. A graveside service was held at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
Albert F. Ingenito
Mr. Ingenito, 74, of Jackson died Jan. 21 at St. Barnabas Hospice, Long Branch. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he had lived in Wayside before moving to Jackson. Mr. Ingenito was a World War II Navy veteran. He was predeceased in 1991 by his wife, Sadie, and in 2002 by a son, Louis. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and Jerry Messana of Marlboro; two sisters, Ida Femiano and Carmela DeMarco, both of Brooklyn; four grandchildren; and his longtime companion, Fran Green. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Gabriel’s Roman Catholic Church, Marlboro, followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, N.Y.
