50 years in real estate

Long Branch resident Joan Wiltshire Raymond recently celebrated 50 years as a full-time real estate professional and member of the Monmouth County Multiple Listing Service. Raymond is a sales associate at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Rumson.

The Red Bank High School graduate earned her real estate license in 1948 and continued her education throughout her career, earning the GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) designation.

Liberty Tax Service opens Long Branch office

The firm of Liberty Tax Service has announced the opening of a new branch at 620 Broadway, Long Branch. The firm has more than 1,400 offices nationwide and in Canada, and specializes in computerized tax preparation, electronic filing and refund anticipation loans.

Piccola Italia joins forces with HABcore

Lou and Brian Gualtieri, owners of Piccola Italia Restaurant, 837 W. Park Ave., Ocean Township, have announced the restaurant will hold its first "Dine Out Wednesday" benefit in conjunction with HABcore, Red Bank. The event will be held each Wednesday during February.

The Gualtieris will donate 25 percent of all proceeds from lunch or dinner bills to HABcore, a nonprofit devoted to providing permanent and transitional supportive housing to low-income individuals who are homeless, disabled or unable to care for themselves.
