As Al and Carolyn Henneberger’s needs have changed over the years, they’ve found that one home builder has been able to meet those needs: K. Hovnanian Companies. The Hennebergers recently purchased a home at K. Hovnanian’s Four Seasons at Metedeconk Lakes. It is their third K. Hovnanian home. "We’ve been very happy with K. Hovnanian," Ms. Henneberger said. "The construction of our homes has been good." That, she points out, is a compliment from her husband, who is a construction manager. "We’ve also worked well with the warranty people, the construction people and the sales people," she said. "We’ve never had any problems."
The Hennebergers’ experience with K. Hovnanian began about eight years ago, when they moved from Howard Beach, N.Y., to K. Hovnanian’s Country Village in Howell to be near their daughter, who lives in Freehold. When the Hennebergers moved into their townhouse at Country Village, they knew it was going to be temporary. "We lived there for about two years," Ms. Henneberger said. "And it was a lovely townhouse, but we wanted to be in an active adult community."
The Hennebergers saw an advertisement for the Four Seasons at Wall. "We went to look at it and loved it, so we sold our townhouse and moved to the Four Seasons at Wall," Ms. Hennnberger said. "It’s near the shore and in an absolutely beautiful area, plus it had all the amenities we wanted in an active adult community."
Six years later, Mr. Henneberger decided it was time for a change. "He just decided he wanted to move," Carolyn explained. "There was no particular reason, he was just ready for something new. We had friends from the Four Seasons at Wall who had bought homes at the Four Seasons at Metedeconk Lakes, so we went to look at it." The Hennebergers fell in love with the three-bedroom, two-bathroom Sanibel. "I really loved the layout of it," Ms. Henneberger said. "I particularly love the family room and the kitchen. The kitchen is magnificent."
They also appreciated that community is close to the shore and only a short drive to their friends who still live at the Four Seasons at Wall. They now have six grandchildren, so they appreciate the fact that the Four Seasons at Metedeconk is grandchildren-friendly. We’re looking forward to spending time there with our grandchildren. We’re very excited about the whole thing."
K. Hovnanian’s Four Seasons at Metedeconk Lakes offers a wide choice of home styles, an incredible clubhouse and many other country club amenities, all in a park-like setting.
At the heart of the Four Seasons lifestyle is the world-class two-story clubhouse. This facility offers fun, fitness, relaxation and socialization with three swimming pools, including one designed for the entire family. One pool is inside for year-round use. The homes at Four Seasons at Metedeconk Lakes meet NJ Energy Star Homes criteria, meaning each home will save its owners 30 percent on utility bills compared to non-Energy Star certified homes. K. Hovnanian’s Four Seasons at Metedeconk Lakes is located in Jackson Township in beautiful Ocean County. Calling itself the Gateway to the Jersey Shore, Jackson is one of the largest townships in the state and offers a variety of amenities. To visit, take the Garden State Parkway North or South to Exit 98. Pay toll at the exit and follow signs for Interstate 195 West. Continue about 10 miles and take Exit 22, the Jackson Mills-Georgia exit. Bear right at the ramp on to Jackson Mills Road and make the second left on to Harmony Road. Community entrance is approximately one-quarter of a mile on the left.
From the New Jersey Turnpike, take Exit 7A on to Interstate 195 East. Continue to Exit 22, Jackson Mills-Georgia. At ramp, make a left turn over I-195 and make second left on to Harmony Road. Community entrance is approximately a quarter mile on the left.
