Howard M. Pelzer, 79, formerly of Monroe, died Friday Jan. 23, in his home in Laguna Hills, Calif.
Long-time residents of Concordia, Howard and his wife, Fay, moved to Tuscon, Ariz., and then to Laguna Hills.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Fay Pelzer; daughters Gail Eisner, Hollis Even and Susan Reisman; three sons-in-law; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Sunday, Jan. 25, in Laguna Hills.
