A groundbreaking ceremony for Wegmans was held recently at Ocean Plaza, Sunset Avenue and Route 35, Ocean Township. The new store will be part of the renovated and expanded Ocean Plaza and the project is expected to be completed by the end of 2004. Wegmans began in 1915 and currently operates 66 stores.
